Nick Chicoine - Co-Director
I am from Massapequa, NY, and went on to play lacrosse at the United States Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. For my freshman through sophomore seasons, the team played in the MCLA D2. I was named team captain and given All America Honorable Mention honors in 2014. When the team moved up to NCAA D3 my senior season (2015), I was named NEWMAC All Conference. After a few years away from the game, I left the military and set on a new career path in healthcare. Along this journey, I began a Master's in Public Health program at UC Davis. With a year of lacrosse eligibility remaining, I came back to the MCLA D2 with the Aggies and was named a 1st team WCLL All-Conference faceoff specialist in 2022. Under the guidance of UC Davis Head Coach, Aces Program director, and former Tewaarton Award finalist Frank Resetarits, my passion for lacrosse was reignited. Since 2022, While attending medical school at CNUCOM as a Us Navy HPSP receipient, I have coached with Aces lacrosse club, Jesuit High School, and Del Oro High School. I also started Pacific Coast Pinch N' Pop for Faceoff Specialist training in sacramento. Lacrosse has been such an important part of my life, and I want every kid here on the west coast to have a chance to experience that passion.

Zack Wall - Co-Director
Zack was born in 1992 and raised in the city of Roseville. Growing up, there were very few lacrosse opportunities for kids to take part in. During the early 2000s, there were only two recognized CIF high school lacrosse teams in the greater Sacramento area. His uncle, who played goalie for the Cal Poly club team back in his college days, gifted Zack his used goalie stick when Zack was in middle school. Zack had barely heard of lacrosse, let alone played the sport at the time, but this gift would ignite a curiosity and passion for lacrosse for years to come. Zack attended Oakmont high school in Roseville from 2007 to 2010. As mentioned, there were very little CIF playing opportunities when it came to lacrosse, and Oakmont at the time did not have a team to play for. The only opportunity he had to play lacrosse was to play for the club affiliate of Casa Roble high school, the Orangevale Rams. In his four-year tenure at the program, Zack played primarily as an attackman and traveled up and down the state playing against other club teams and in various tournaments. Post high school, Zack moved away to Washington State where he first began coaching 12u and 10u teams. He transitioned the experience of teaching lacrosse at the youth level into teaching in the classroom where he has been an elementary teacher since 2018. In early 2023, the opportunity to start a CIF program at his former high school was presented to him. Zack quickly accepted the opportunity and has been building and coaching the Oakmont lacrosse program since. Zacks motivation when it comes to coaching in the Sacramento area involves growing the sport of lacrosse so that more kids have the opportunity to play and develop in the sport at younger ages.
